Of all my work over the three week module, this is my personal favourite. I love bold colours. Acrylic on paper, varnished. Had fun with this one, was enjoyable to paint on a larger scale.

I just loved painting this, I enjoy warm, earthy colours and not too many colours. Was great to paint large, and to pin the paper to the wall, and paint this way, getting away from tables and chairs. This was done during the 'print to paint' module with Hadlee, loved every moment. I have now moved onto a theme of still-life, placement and light, which is turning out to be a real challenge. Maybe I prefer abstract painting, but I have lots of research to do. I like pottery and vases, currently am looking at Wedgwood, tonal painting, negative space, my mediums will be oil, and anything else I can find! The work of Cezanne is an inspiration to me, also Matiise and Van Gogh.
